(Portland, OR—August 29, 2019) The Bible Project—a non-profit, crowdfunded animation studio that produces short-form, fully animated videos to make the biblical story accessible to everyone, everywhere with over 150 million organic views—is releasing the first crowdfunded digital devotional for busy moms at #MomCon. “Gospel Wisdom for Moms”, a free and available now, is based on its popular Luke-Acts Video Miniseries Moms can either download the devotional or go through it as an online course.
“We talked to a lot of moms as we designed this course, and their feedback was unanimous—they’re busy, they find it hard to get a moment of peace, and often feel that focusing on their faith is a struggle. This tailored devotional is free, it’s super easy to use, and—most importantly—we’ve packed loads of personally-enriching material into short bursts of time that make this digestible,” said Mike McDonald, Director of Strategic Relationships at The Bible Project. “It’s a thrill to be able to offer this for free thanks to 100,000 supporters who crowdfunded the project. We’re looking forward to hearing from moms as their investment in the Bible pays dividends in their lives and that of their families.”
“Gospel Wisdom for Moms,” includes the option of a downloadable devotional or online module - nine additional videos based on Luke and Acts, two books which are actually one story written by one author, Luke. These books catalog the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, the savior to whom all of the Old Testament prophecies pointed. Just as importantly, the Gospel also takes great care to point out how Christ fulfilled Old Testament prophecies.
The entire series is crowdfunded by over 100,000 supporters and is free and available to watch at bibleproject.com.
