Venues and Lodging
Key Locations
Meeting Venues
The Vision Summit will be hosted at the Jupiter NEXT Hotel and the BibleProject office in SE Portland. It takes about seven minutes to walk from the hotel to the BibleProject office.
The BibleProject office is located in a residential area with limited street parking. We recommend allowing an extra 10 minutes to find a parking spot and walk to the office.
Lodging
All event attendees are invited to stay at the Jupiter NEXT hotel, which has been reserved exclusively for this event. Many sessions and meals will also be at the hotel. Most staff and guests attending the event will be staying at this hotel for the duration of the event.
Guests are responsible for booking their own accommodations for the event, whether at the Jupiter NEXT or at other hotels.
Parking
You can park your car in the underground parking lot, one block from the hotel, for $25 per night. You can also use a nearby outdoor lot for $15 a night. Both lots are first come, first served. This event is designed to be walkable, we do not recommend renting a car if you are traveling in.
Travel and Transportation
Flying to Portland
Those traveling to Portland from out of town will want to fly into the Portland International Airport (PDX). The airport has recently been renovated to showcase the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and if you have time before or after your flight, we recommend checking out the many amazing local restaurants, shops, and art at PDX.
Ground Transportation
We recommend taking a ride share or taxi from PDX to the Jupiter NEXT hotel. It’s usually about a 15-minute drive.
For Uber, Lyft, or taxi services at PDX, follow the signs to the Transportation Area from baggage claim. Pick-up is located on Level 1 of the short-term parking garage.
If you are renting a car, follow the signs to the Rental Car Center from baggage claim.
If you are driving to the event, we recommend parking at the hotel, as street parking can be limited. For more information on parking at event venues, please see the Venues and Lodging section above.

Explore Portland, Oregon
There is so much to explore in beautiful Portland, Oregon! Whether you’re looking for a great cup of coffee or a bite to eat, a peaceful place to walk around, or even the largest independent bookstore in the country, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
Coffee
Portland is a coffee city, and you’ll find a great shop or roaster in just about every neighborhood. Some of our favorites within walking distance of the BibleProject office are Heart, Good Coffee, Roseline, and Coava.
Food Carts
Portland has no shortage of great restaurants, but if you really want to eat like the locals, we encourage you to check out one of many nearby food cart pods. Both Cartopia and Lil’ America are a short walk from the BibleProject office and have an option to satisfy any craving.
Powell’s City of Books
Get lost in the stacks at Powell’s, a beloved institution. With four floors of new and used books, Powell’s almost certainly has the book you’re looking for.
Parks
If you’re craving a peaceful walk or want to take in some scenery, our favorite public parks are Mount Tabor, Laurelhurst Park, Forest Park, and the International Rose Test Garden. And for an admission fee, you can also explore the gorgeous grounds of the Portland Japanese Garden.
Museums
For even more exploration, check out the Portland Art Museum or the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI). Both are just a short drive from the BibleProject office.

Portland in late October can be a bit unpredictable — think crisp fall vibes, light rain, and occasional sunshine. Expect temps in the 50s–60s°F during the day, cooler at night. Pack layers, a jacket, and something waterproof (just in case). The conference is almost exclusively indoors where it can get a bit warm. No matter what, we will make sure you remain as comfortable as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns and are not sure who to ask, please contact us via visionsummit@bibleproject.com, Greenvelope, or your BibleProject contact.
