Help with Email

If you haven’t received any emails from us, it’s usually one of the following scenarios:


Our emails are being sorted to a different folder in your inbox:

  • Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders.
  • Type “BibleProject” or info@bibleproject.com into your email search bar to see where the email is sorting to.
  • Add info@bibleproject.com to your address book, so they end up in your primary inbox.


You’ve unsubscribed from our email lists before:

  • To opt in and resubscribe, find an old BibleProject email, scroll to the bottom, and click the Update Preferences link. This will open a page that will let you check the boxes of which email categories you’d like to receive.


There may’ve been a typo when signing up:

  • It happens to the best of us! A spelling mishap (ex. ".con" instead of ".com") could keep our emails from being sent to you.
  • Try submitting your email address in the sign-up form again.

Our reading plan emails are scheduled to arrive each week, starting from the date and time you signed up.


For example, if you signed up on March 4th, here is a schedule that should reflect the send dates of the first three emails:


* Week 1 — March 4th

  • Week 2 — March 11th
  • Week 3 — March 18th


If you’re looking to start in the middle of a reading plan to coincide with the calendar year, we recommend using our printable reading plan.

Unfortunately, we are only able to start you at the beginning of the Reading Plan emails. Otherwise, we are unable to change the progress or frequency of the emails to you.


However, our education team has created several reading plans for the Bible app, including the plan our emails are based on, One Story That Leads to Jesus.


Also, if you’re looking to start in the middle of a reading plan to coincide with the calendar year, we recommend using our printable reading plan.

You can update your email address for Reading Plans, Reflections, or our News & Updates emails.


Sign-in on the Log-in page.


After logging in, access the Account page, and change your email address under the “edit” section in the General section.

If you tried the steps from above, but you’re still receiving emails at your old address, this means that your BibleProject email account is not connected to a website account. Please reach out via our Contact Us form for help.


If our Audience Care Team has longer wait times than normal, and you’re in a rush, we encourage you to set up email forwarding from your old email account to your new email account as a temporary measure until a Care Team member can assist you with this update.

If you can’t find a specific Reflections email, we’ve got good news! All of the resources from our Reflections emails are archived on our Reflections Bible Study page.


If you’re missing a specific Reading Plan email, type info@bibleproject.com into your email’s search bar to see whether or not it’s been routed to a folder other than your main inbox — this will highlight every email from us, regardless of the folder it’s housed in.


And in the meantime, you can access our printable reading plan for all of the readings and resources listed in the missing email.
