BibleProject Fellowship Program
Developing a worldwide network of scholars across Christian traditions who explore the biblical story together through research, dialogue, and the collective development of educational resources.

The BibleProject’s fellowship program exists to equip emerging and experienced scholars for collaborative research and content creation to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus.
The fellowship program includes two tracks: Fellows and Visiting Scholars. Both can expect to engage in cohort-style learning alongside other participants and the Scholarship team. Time commitments and location expectations vary based on the role. Both tracks meet virtually weekly for professional development and peer support, including an in-person retreat or off-site experience twice yearly. In addition to learning from other BibleProject staff, the fellows will work directly with the Scholarship team and contribute to various projects.
While in the fellowship program, you will practice the biblical paradigm that BibleProject teaches, and with your unique skill set and interests, you will contribute to the project. You will participate in collaborative exegetical study, biblical/theological research, and curriculum development. This is a paid opportunity.

FAQ
The main difference between the two fellowship program tracks lies in academic qualifications and experience. Fellows are required to have completed a master’s degree. Visiting Scholars, however, must have a doctoral degree, demonstrable writing skills, and are often further along in their careers.
All Fellow positions are filled for 2025-2026. If additional Fellow positions become available, they will likely be posted in 2026.
